0600 start for morning boat trip. I failed to get up quite on time, but one of the guys from the lodge was kind enough to ferry me up to the groups boat. Mostly birds seen, main spots of note:
- Blyth’s Sea Eagle (Hawk Eagle ?)
- Pied Hornbill
- Crocodile
When we got back some of the group went for a walk to a nearby lake. I decided to give it a miss to try and give my as yet unhealed toe a chance to recover. Caught up on some sleep!
We had the afternoon free and then another boat trip in the evening. This proved the best of the lot including:
- WILD ORANG UTAN – mother and baby lounging in a tree about 100 yards from the shore
- Large (6′) Crocodile
- Proboscis Monkey
- Large troop of Macaque
- White Throated Kingfisher
- Bee-eaters
- Monitor Lizard
- Yellow Banded Viper
